Fujino was driven to improve her art out of jealousy for Kyomoto's own skills, only to discover to her internalized delight that Kyomoto was essentially her biggest fan just as she had decided to quit drawing. This pushes her to seriously pursue a career in manga. The development of both characters was okay but it felt unnecessary to add in the alternate possibilities as it made it confusing to follow what was actually happening.

I was a little bit confused in the middle of the end, and when I continued reading it (gently scrolling) to the point where I understand what Fujimoto Sensei is trying to tell the readers That moment I realized and talking to myself why tf did I choose a public coffee shop to read such an emotional manga,and I'm trying so hard to hold my tears not to fall in front of people and I did it,good on me. one can do the utmost effort to explain it to others without ever making them feel half the way one does. Unless, of course, you're a genius like Fujimoto. We know him for his weird scenes, crazy humour, great storytelling and his often depressing stories... so this feels, at least for me, new. Personal. always is amazing from fujimoto as he draws amazing parallels from the beggining to the final act of the story and does masterfully represent the characters expressions.
